Bare Face Cleansing Oil Review

Hey there! I recently received this Bare Face Cleansing Oil in my September Julep Maven Box. In case you don't know, Julep is a monthly nail subscription box. For $19.99 a month they will send you a nail polish set based off of your Maven profile. If you don't want to receive a box you can skip the month or gift it to a friend. Oh and shipping is free for Mavens! If you're a nail polish junkie this just might be the perfect subscription for you!

I was a little skeptical when I received this cleansing oil in my box. I thought it didn't really fit the box since I got nail polish, but I was interested in trying it anyways. The product has rosehip seed oil in it. I've never heard of it before but that's no big deal. I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and a little goes a long way.

The directions tell you to pump a liberal amount into your dry hands and to massage it over your dry face. It says that it will dissolve makeup, dirt, and impurities. I was pretty impressed with it. When you first put it on your face will look really oily. I like to put it on right before I hop in the shower before bed and let it sit while I get clean. Then I take my towel and wash it all off. If I'm not showering before bed I will put it on and massage it into my face for a few minutes before washing it off with a warm towel.

Once I wash it off my face feels clean and refreshed. My skin feels soft and smooth. My skin is not oily after using it which is awesome. I also like the smell of it. It smells lemony to me. The thing that impressed me most about this cleansing oil was how well it removed my makeup. I usually have a very hard time removing my mascara (that Benefit They're Real! is a headache to get off!), but this oil took it off with ease! And it didn't irritate my eyes which made it even more perfect!

Final verdict: I would definitely recommend this product to everyone!
