Why Do You Wear Makeup Tag!

Hey loves! I have another tag post today! I just love tags! They're so much fun and a great way to get to know one another! The lovely Justina of Justina Who... tagged me in this one! If you haven't checked out her blog before you should definitely do so! She is such a sweetheart and you will learn tons of amazing tips and tricks from her!

1. When did you begin loving makeup?
I was actually older than most starting out with makeup. I was 20! My parents never allowed us to wear makeup (we couldn't even wear nail polish unless it was clear or very very light sheer pink!) so I never owned any until I got older. My first experience with makeup was for my senior pics in high school. My mom took me to Macy's and we went to the makeup counter. We ended up getting a few products from Lancome. I think it was just blush and mascara. I don't think I even ended up using them in my pics. Once I got to college I began to experiment with it more, but still not a lot. My senior year of college I began taking a stage makeup course. I was a theatre minor and it was part of my program. I was the only girl that did not know how to put on eyeliner and mascara. It was embarrassing. I began to watch YouTube videos to learn so that I could keep up in class. Once I started watching those videos I was hooked! A few months later I went to Ulta and began my makeup collection! (Sorry that was so long!)

2. How do you feel without makeup?
I used to feel perfectly fine without makeup, but I've noticed that lately I don't like to be without it. I guess it's more so that now I've noticed that my skin tone is uneven and I don't like that so I like to cover it up. I don't wear makeup everyday though so I'm still ok without it, but I definitely feel a lot more comfortable with it on.

3. What do you like about makeup?
I like that there are so many different things that you can do with it. I like to think of it as an artist with their canvas. The artist starts out with a blank canvas and creates a masterpiece. My face is my canvas and my makeup is the paint. I can create a masterpiece using my own face! I especially love how you can use it to create different effects and become a whole new person.

There's so much you can do with makeup!
