Takin' off your makeup

Ok girls! You know that time when you get home from a long day and all you want to do is hit the sack? You struggle out of your clothes and into your pj's and get ready to lay down when you remember you still have to remove your makeup. You reach for your makeup removal wipes and the package is empty. What do you do now? You're too tired to go buy some, but you don't want to sleep in your makeup. I have a few products that can double as makeup removers that you most likely have in your home!

1. Vaseline

Now I wouldn't recommend using this method often as it can block your tear ducts, but when you're in a pinch it works wonders. All you have to do is apply a very thin layer to your face and eyes. Using a cotton ball, gently wipe the makeup away.

2. Baby Oil

Baby Oil also works wonders when removing makeup. Especially if you have a lot on. This is what I would use to remove my makeup in my stage makeup class. It really helped loosen the makeup and made it easier to wash it all off of my face. I also have used this to remove waterproof mascara that just didn't want to come off. Sometimes this has worked better than my makeup removal wipes!

3. Baby Wipes
They're so multi-purposed!
I don't know what it is about baby products and makeup, but they seem to work well together. Baby wipes were another tool that I used to remove makeup in my stage makeup class. What I love about using baby wipes is that they make your skin feel so soft and hydrated after using them. And they don't leave your face feeling oily. Plus they come in super cute containers (I love the Winnie the Pooh ones!) and they are multi-purposed! So they're a win-win!

I love keeping these products around because they are so affordable and work well when you need them. What household products do you use to remove your makeup? Let me know in the comments below or on Facebook!
